Prof. Millie Taylor, Ph.D.

Millie Taylor is Professor of Musical Theatre at the University of Winchester.

Her areas of expertise are British pantomime, musical theatre history, theory and dramaturgy and theatre music. She worked as a freelance musical director and for almost twenty years toured Britain and Europe with a variety of musicals. Her latest book “Theatre Music and Sound at the RSC: Macbeth to Matilda” was published in 2019 with Palgrave Macmillan.

Millie Taylor is a Visiting Fellow at CAS in November 2022 and April 2023 at the invitation of Prof. Dr. David Roesner. She will join the CAS Research Group on "The Sound of Theatre".
